What ProofPress Publishes
ProofPress™ publishes one thing: systematic, lossless reductions of existing, human-peer-reviewed empirical science into machine-verified formal logic. It does not publish new experimental results or asserted hypotheses. A result the source did not state is published only when it follows from a complete reduction of peer-reviewed sources, with 0 sorry, 0 custom axioms and 0 free parameters; see Review Process.
The Reduction, Precisely
A ProofPress™ article takes a result that has already passed peer review in a primary journal — a measured constant, a proven theorem, a confirmed physical relationship — and expresses that same result inside the substrate-neutral PNBA™ coordinate system, then verifies the resulting logical structure by machine compilation.
The governing equation is fixed across every domain the journal covers:
Every submission maps its subject onto the four substrate-neutral primitives of PNBA™:
| Axis | Name | Role |
|---|---|---|
| P | Pattern | Structural capacity — what the system can hold |
| N | Narrative | Continuity and depth — the system's worldline |
| B | Behavior | Coupling output — what the system does to its environment |
| A | Adaptation | Feedback rate — how the system responds to change |
The torsion ratio τ = B/P determines phase state against the Torsion Limit™, TL™ = Ω₀/10 = 0.136899099984016 — a derived constant, proved from three independent physical systems, not a free parameter chosen to fit any single domain.
Scope: What Falls Inside
- Reductions of peer-reviewed results in physics, cosmology, mathematics, biology, and related empirical fields into the PNBA™ coordinate system
- Formal verification, in Lean 4 and/or Coq/Rocq, of the structural claims a reduction makes
- Cross-domain consistency checks — showing that a constant or relationship derived independently in one field matches the same quantity reduced from another
- Documentation of prior-art and reproduction timestamps for corpus-native derivations
Scope: What Falls Outside
- New experimental data or measurements not already published and peer-reviewed elsewhere
- Speculative extensions of a reduction beyond what the cited source material and the formal proof actually establish
- Philosophical or interpretive essays with no accompanying machine-verified structure
